Rev. Seaton Wilson is
an
ordained minister of the Pen-Florida District
of the Assemblies of God. Before transferring his ministerial
credential in 2007 to the Pen-Florida District, he was a minister of
the Assemblies of God in Jamaica for over twenty-five (25) years. Since
February 1, 2006 he has been the senior Pastor of First Assembly of
God, Inc., Christiansted, St Croix, USVI and also ministers on radio
and television weekly.
A citation from fellow ministers, friends, colleagues and
those he ministered to over eighteen and a half (18½) described him as
“A master teacher at best, gifted with the skill of analysis, he has
bombarded the minds of the laity with a depth of reasoning which had
strangled the mundane and catapulted the laity into an appreciation of
deep things of God.”
Rev. Wilson has served in various ministerial capacities
over the past thirty-two (32) years. He served as pastor, Bible College
Lecturer and Academic Dean, National Education Director and General
Secretary of the Assemblies of God Fellowship in Jamaica, Radio Speaker
and Religious Columnist.
He has been a conference, crusade and seminar speaker in
Canada, the United States of America and nineteen (19) Caribbean
Islands for the past 25 years.
Rev. Wilson is a graduate of the Luther Rice Seminary
(University), 1981, and Jamaica Open Bible Institute, 1978; where he
earned a Bachelor of Ministry Degree and Diploma in Bible and Theology
respectively.
He has been happily married to Jean since 1979 and the union produced
two sons, Joseph and Christoph.
His philosophy of life is TO KNOW, BE AND DO THE WILL OF GOD.
